Dr. Faraj Edher – Prosthodontist, Vancouver, Canada
Dr. Faraj Edher is a Specialist in Prosthodontics and the Founder of Transcend Specialized Dentistry, a multi-specialty clinic in Downtown Vancouver, offering Prosthodontics, Periodontics, and Orthodontics. He earned his Master’s in Craniofacial Science and completed post-graduate specialty training in Prosthodontics at the University of British Columbia. He also received his dental degree from the University of Sharjah College of Dental Medicine.
A Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Dr. Edher is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada, and the Canadian Association of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. He has founded and co-founded several international dental associations and regularly represents Canadian dentists and students on global platforms.
Dr. Edher is the Founder of the BC Dental Study Club, one of Canada’s largest dental study groups, and the Director of the Digital Dentistry Institute, a global educational organization offering comprehensive training programs in digital and implant dentistry. He frequently presents seminars, workshops, and lectures both locally and internationally on topics such as digital dentistry, implant dentistry, treatment planning, and aesthetic rehabilitation.
His clinical and research interests center around the applications of digital technology in dentistry, complex implant reconstructions, and aesthetic rehabilitations. In addition to his full-time practice in Vancouver, Dr. Edher serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor and guest lecturer at the University of British Columbia, and he has numerous publications focused on digital dentistry and dental implants.
